Our Children's Books

Most of our children's stories have a standard version and a My First Novels version. My First Novels Books are children's books that have a fuller story meant for older children and/or big readers. Learn about the My First Novels series and what makes it different from the standard version here. The My First Novels version comes in both a standard edition and a special edition. The special edition has benefits and additional features such as a hard cover, commentary, and deleted scenes. Click here to learn about the special edition versus the standard edition. Also, each story and their various versions and editions can be purchased as a conventional print book or ebook.

One thing to note is that the focus and specialty of Story Master's children's books are story books, meaning that our focus and specialty is making books that tell a story. Many children's books, particularly for very young children, are purely educational. For example, a book might talk about the alphabet, and present all the letters, and show words that start with those letters. While those are certainly important and valuable books for children, these are not the kind of books that Story Master focuses on. Many of our stories include plenty of educational material and even teachings from the author slipped in, but a story is still being told. Purely educational books are great, but just know that Story Master's focus and specialty is stories. However, Story Master does make merhandise including activity and educational books that act as companion books to our stories. For example, we sell books with activities such as mazes and crossword puzzles, all with a Bonzo theme. Additionally, we might occasionally also sell non-related Story Master products from Story Master's parent business, My Magic Treehouse.

Lastly, I know that these are called children's stories, and that they're designed for children, but the truth is, I see no reason why adults can't also enjoy some of these stories. I myself still find some children's stories entertaining and valuable. This is even more the case with Story Master stories since in addition to not finishing the making of such a story until I think children will like it, I don't finish making a story until I like it as well. Furthermore, I often slip in some humor that while appropriate for children, I think adults could enjoy. After all, I want adults to be entertained with these stories since they're often the ones reading them to the children in the first place. The more enjoyable that I can make a children's story for the adults reading them to children, the more that adults will want to read them, which makes accomplishing my goals with Story Master all the more attainable.
