Content appropriate for children also means that it should leave an average child experiencing positive emotions. I'm not talking about being entertained here. A story can invoke negative emotions while still being entertaining. I'm talking about children feeling happy or generally positive from the story. Though, a story isn't going to be entertaining if it doesn't make them happy. This doesn't mean that a story can't be sad at times, or have dark scenarios, tension, and drama; it's difficult to tell an entertaining story without such things, but when it's all over, children should at the very least feel something positive from the story.

Within each children's book are also plenty of pictures since imagery is especially important for children when presenting a story.

Of course, the goal of any story is to be entertaining, but the best children's stories are often educational and/or inspirational too, and it is my goal with almost every Story Master children's book to be all three. Included in most of my stories are valuable life lessons to aid in a child's development. In fact, I often write my stories with the adults in mind who might be reading these stories to children, and I believe that they can benefit from these lessons too. Ultimately, my main goal with my stories is to make the world a better place. I believe that entertainment combined with education and inspiration will help accomplish that.
